From Arctic tundra to one of the world's most beautiful cities in a single flight. Vancouver is the perfect finale — sushi that rivals Tokyo, rainforest walks in Stanley Park, and the kids can finally charge their devices. Then fly direct to NYC or Miami.

🚗 Aug 30: Drive Back to Whitehorse

Drive back from Tombstone Territorial Park to Whitehorse — about 6–7 hours.

Stop for lake swimming along the way — there are beautiful spots on the Klondike Highway. Last night in the RV.

Get a good night's sleep — big day tomorrow.

✈️ Aug 31: Fly to Vancouver

Drop off the RV in Whitehorse (allow 2 hrs for return). Fly Whitehorse (YXY) → Vancouver (YVR) — approximately 2.5 hrs.

Daily flights via Air North or WestJet. Arrive afternoon — hotel checkin, drop bags, hit the city.

Skyride gondola up the mountain, bear refuge (grizzlies!), lumberjack shows, mountain zip lines. Amazing views of Vancouver below. 15 min from downtown.

Iconic geodesic dome on False Creek. Interactive science exhibits, OMNIMAX theatre. Perfect for kids of all ages. Walking distance from downtown.

Swimming, sunset views, beach volleyball. One of Vancouver's most beloved spots — close to downtown. The sunset from English Bay is legendary.

🚇 Getting Around

  • Get a Compass Card for bus, SkyTrain, SeaBus
  • Uber/Lyft fully available in Vancouver
  • SkyTrain to YVR is easy and cheap (~$10)
  • SeaBus across to North Van is worth it just for views
  • Rent bikes for the Stanley Park seawall

  • Much warmer than the Yukon — kids will notice!
